Joel W. Barrett, CFA, CPA, CTFA President

Mr. Barrett graduated from the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting.

He began his career with Arthur Andersen Company in Atlanta. During his four years as senior auditor he gained experience in financial statement analysis, purchase price reviews and acquisitions. Mr. Barrett then earned his Master of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Upon completing his graduate degree, Mr. Barrett entered the investment field and earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designations.

He joined TNB Financial Services in 1996 as Executive VP and has served as it’s President since 2002.
